American Speed Association News & Links ASA Educational Series Points Update Several crew members and drivers are participating in the ASA Educational Series at Madison International Speedway in 2008 with hopes of winning scholarships as high as $25,000 to Ohio Technical College in Cleveland, Ohio. All participants will be receive scholarship money. A total of nearly $400,000 is available for participating ASAES teams at MIS. Points are calculated based on the finishing order of participating teams in their feature events. For example, if an ASAES member team wins the feature they receive 75 points. If the next highest finishing ASAES team finishes in fourth place they will actually receive second place worth 70 points. This system is separate from our championship standings.
