Super Late Models Return to MIS This Friday Night

Oregon, WI (Sunday, July 18, 2010)- Exciting Super Late Model racing action returns to Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile this Friday night (July 23rd) as part of Swiss Colony Night.

“We are very exciting about Friday night and I want to thank Swiss Colony for making this happen,” said MIS General Manager Dave Grueneberg.

The Super Late Models will compete in a 50 lap main event that will pay $2000 to the winner and $450 to start. “We are expecting the best in the Midwest to be here on Friday night. Top drivers like Nathan Haseleu, Ross Kenseth, Bryan Reffner, Andrew Morrissey and many more will be here to battle it out.,” said Grueneberg.

Not only will the fans be treated to a 50 lap feature for the Super Late Models, but the Rockweiler Insulation Late Models, Pellitteri Waste Systems Legends, and Roto Rooter Bandits will also be in action as part of their weekly racing program.

Pit gates open at 3:30 with hot laps at 4:45, qualifying at 6:15 and racing at 7:30. Special event pricing will apply to this event with grandstand admission set at $15.00 for ages eleven and up, $5.00 for ages 6-10 and free for kids five and under.
