Friday Night Events at MIS Classic Postponed Nine Divisions Will Race Saturday The first night of racing at the MIS Fall Classic has been postponed due to the likelihood of rain and thunderstorms. The Friday forecast indicates a 70% chance of rain for the Madison area. “We wanted to make this decision with plenty of advance notice for the teams, fans, and our employees. There are many things we have to take into consideration and we feel like this was our best option,” said MIS General Manager Dave Grueneberg. All divisions who were scheduled to race on Friday night (Late Models, Area Sportsman, Hobby / Pure Stocks, Bandits, Legends, International Four Cylinders, and American Short Trackers will be in action on Saturday night along with the Mid American Stock Car Series and USST Super Trucks. The schedule for Saturday will find the pit gates opening at 10:00 AM, practice at noon, qualifying at 3:30 and racing at 6:00. In case of rain on Saturday the events will be run on Sunday afternoon. | ||||||||||||||||||||
