Major Event Added for Limited Late Models at MIS A major event for the Rockweiler Insulation Limited Late Models has been added at Madison International Speedway as part of Tribute to America Night on September 5th. MIS General Manager Dave Grueneberg announced today that Twin 40's for the limited late models will highlight the racing program on September 5th. The Area Sportsman, Hobby Stocks, American Short Trackers, International Four Cylinders, and Bandoleros will also be in action. Each of the forty lap events will be a point race for the Rockweiler Insulation Limited Late Model drivers. “Due to the combination of rainouts and off-nights, we felt that the limited late model teams needed some additional races. They have put on an awesome show this season and this will be a great way to end their point season,” said Grueneberg. “We expect to draw a large field of cars for this race.” The other four weekly divisions will crown their champions on Friday, August 29th as part of Pepsi Season Championship Night. | ||||
